We use "narrow range" C9-C11 ethoxylated alcohols from industry leader AkzoNobel (100% liquid non-ionic surfactants). It's the difference between a cheap budget spirit and a premium, top-shelf liquor. Both might be 40%, but everyone knows which is better.
Our ethoxylated alcohol contains a non-ionic surfactant that wets the surface in just 15 seconds (according to the Draves test). This means our degreaser reaches 95% of its full cleaning power almost instantly. Furthermore, our "narrow range" surfactants are fully biodegradable. The only potentially harmful ingredient in Multi-surface Orange is isopropyl alcohol, but its concentration is strictly controlled to have zero negative impact on the user.
